Milton Man Charged with Deer Violations

DNREC Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Agents on Aug. 19 arrested a Milton man for hunting violations stemming from a June 30 search warrant executed at Sure Shot Taxidermy in Georgetown. In the search, agents found and seized a mounted deer without its required receipt tag. 

Willis S. Harmon Jr., age 18, of 30074 Stockley Road, Milton, was arrested and charged with possession of unlawfully taken game, hunting antlered deer during archery season with a weapon other than a bow, failure to retain Division of Fish and Wildlife tag for antlered deer, and possession or transporting of antlered deer that was unlawfully killed.

The case is pending at the Court of Common Pleas in Georgetown.
