Pennsylvania Man Arrested on Assault
and Menacing Charges near New Castle

            On the afternoon of Nov. 14, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Agents responded to an incident at the Churchmans Public Boat Ramp near New Castle.

            Errol B. Douthat, age 59, of 211 Thompson Road, Kennett Square, Pa., was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, two counts of second degree reckless endangering, two counts of aggravated menacing and third degree assault. A Remington 410-guage shotgun and ammunition were seized as evidence.

            Douthat was arraigned and released on $14,000 unsecured bond pending trial in Superior Court.
