Public information meeting on planned improvements
to Hearns Pond Dam set for Wednesday, Sept. 10
DOVER (Sept. 4, 2014) – The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) and Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, Sept. 10 on planned improvements to the Hearns Pond Dam near Seaford, inviting residents living near the pond, the surrounding community, and all other interested parties to attend the meeting and also to view a virtual workshop hosted by both state agencies. The meeting will take place from 4-7 p.m. in the Public Resources Room at Seaford High School, 399 North Market Street, Seaford, DE 19973.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and speak with representatives from both DelDOT and DNREC.
