Recycling Public Advisory Council February Meeting Canceled

The February meeting of the Recycling Public Advisory Council (RPAC) has been canceled. The meeting, which was scheduled for Feb. 18 in Lewes, will not be held.

The next RPAC meeting will be held in March. More information, including the date, location and agenda will be released and posted on the DNREC Public Meeting calendar on the website, www.dnrec.delaware.gov.

The Recycling Public Advisory Council was re-established by Executive Order No. 90 in September 2006 and charged with advising the Governor’s Office, DNREC and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority on all aspects of recycling, including development of grant criteria and selection of applications; a methodology for measuring recycling rates; and possible outreach activities designed to achieve higher recycling rates.
