                      Recycling Public Advisory Council to Meet May 20

The Recycling Public Advisory Council will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Brandywine Hundred Library, 1300 Foulk Road, Wilmington.

Topics on the agenda include:

                  • Recycling Legislation

                  • Recycling Markets Update

                  • Future Meetings/Initiatives

The Recycling Public Advisory Council was re-established by Executive Order No. 90 in September 2006 and charged with advising the Governor’s Office, DNREC and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority on all aspects of recycling, including development of grant criteria and selection of applications; a methodology for measuring recycling rates; and possible outreach activities designed to achieve higher recycling rates.
