Recycling Public Advisory Council to meet Nov. 18 in Lewes 

The Recycling Public Advisory Council will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the DNREC Lewes Facility, 901 Pilottown Road, Lewes.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Public comments

·   Bottle Bill & Recycling Support Letter

·   Statewide Solid Waste Management Plan 

·    Flow Control 

·    The Eighth Annual Report of the RPAC

• Future meetings/initiatives

The Recycling Public Advisory Council was re-established by Executive Order No. 90 in September 2006 and charged with advising the Governor’s Office, DNREC and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority on all aspects of recycling, including development of grant criteria and selection of applications; a methodology for measuring recycling rates; and possible outreach activities designed to achieve higher recycling rates.
