‘Sweets and Spa’ Valentines Getaway
offered at the Indian River Inlet Cottages

REHOBOTH BEACH (Feb. 7, 2014) – Delaware State Parks announces a special Valentine’s romantic getaway at the Indian River Marina Cottages now through Sunday, Feb. 16. Through unique public-private partnerships, the Indian River Marina is offering a “Sweets and Spa” Valentines special, featuring stays at the waterfront cottages along the Indian River Inlet. The Valentine’s special is offered along with the Spa Getaway package released in November 2013, which offers relaxation, recreation and a chance to discover the natural and historic features that Delaware State Parks offer year-round.

The Spa Getaway package partners with Made Ya Look! Salon and Day Spa on the Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach and includes manicures and pedicures, as well as 20 percent off additional services at the spa. You and your Valentine will also enjoy complimentary sweets and candles to add a romantic touch to your weekend getaway as well as a welcome bag with Tanger Outlet coupons, restaurant vouchers and gift certificates to area restaurants.

The Sweets and Spa Valentines package is offered to couples or groups of up to 4 people. The regular Spa Getaway package will continue to be available after Valentine’s Day, Monday to Thursday through April 17, 2014. The package offers spa gift cards, sea glass jewelry classes, and a welcome bag including restaurant gift cards, Tanger Outlet coupons and more. A golf retreat is also available through April 1 and offers discounted greens fees at Sussex County’s premier golf courses, as well as a tour at the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton.

“We are excited to join our partners to offer these opportunities and bring tourism dollars to Delaware, support local businesses and introduce visitors to our incredible parks,” said Caroline Foltz, Delaware State Parks marketing assistant.

To reserve a cottage for these vacation packages, visit destateparks.com/spa or destateparks.com/golf, or call the Indian River Marina at 302-227-3071 for more information.
