Three Kent County men arrested for entering wildlife area after hours

DOVER (Dec. 6, 2010) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on Dec. 4 arrested three Kent County men at the Woodland Beach Wildlife Area.

Vincent R. Worster Jr., age 20, of Camden-Wyoming, Robert C. Rochester Jr., age 19, and Kenneth R. Deppe, age 30, both of Dover, were arrested and charged with entering after hours. The three men were issued citations and released.

“State wildlife areas are open to the public from dawn till dusk. With the exception of those engaging in legal hunting and fishing activities, no one is permitted in wildlife areas during the night from dusk till dawn,” said Sgt. Gregory Rhodes of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement.

Citizens are encouraged to report fish and wildlife violations to the Delaware Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Section at 302-739-4580.
