Two Laurel Men Arrested and Charged in Theft of Hunting Items
Fish and Wildlife Enforcement officers investigating the theft of hunting items arrested two Laurel men on June 3 on charges including felony theft.
After executing a search warrant at the home of Kenneth V. Vanderhoeven, age 36, of 34892 Susan Beach Road in Laurel, officers arrested Vanderhoeven and Donald Case Jr., age 46, also of Laurel.
Both men were charged with felony theft over $1,000, second degree conspiracy, criminal mischief under $1,000 and third degree criminal trespass. Both were taken to Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 in Georgetown and released on $2,750 unsecured bond each, pending a preliminary hearing in the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
