Two Men Arrested for Assault in April 30 Incident

Following an investigation, Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Agents have arrested two New Castle County men in connection with an April 30 incident in which an assault was reported as taking place aboard a vessel on the Delaware Bay that had launched from the Bowers Beach public boat ramp.

Warren A.J. Brady, age 55, of Delaware City, was arrested on May 5 and charged with third degree assault, commercial crabbing with no license and failing to properly display a color board as required for commercial crabbing vessels. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 6 in Harrington and released on $250 unsecured bond. Joe K. Norman, age 55, of 605 Union Church Road, Townsend, was arrested on May 8, charged with third degree assault and released on $100 unsecured bond. Both men pleaded not guilty and the case was transferred to the Kent County Court of Common Pleas.
