Two men arrested on multiple drug charges near St. Georges
ST. GEORGES (Jan. 20, 2011) – DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on Jan. 19 arrested two men on multiple drug-related charges in the C&D Canal Wildlife Area near St. Georges.
John C. Bizub, age 29, of New Castle, was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of possession of a hypodermic syringe, one count of possession of cocaine, one count of possession of a controlled substance within 300 feet of a recreation area, second degree conspiracy and operating a vehicle off an established roadway. He was released after posting $7,500 secured bond, pending trial.
Bruce J. Macomber, age 30, of Newark, was arrested and charged with consumption of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a cocaine within 300 feet of a recreation area, second degree conspiracy and tampering with evidence. He was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington in lieu of $5,000 secured bond, pending trial.
