Volunteers needed for Fantasy Trail at Cape Henlopen State Park
Cape Henlopen State Park invites the public to be a part of the 21st Annual Children’s Fantasy Trail on Oct. 23 - 25.
For the past 20 years, Cape Henlopen State Park has offered children and their families a fun, safe event where they can wear their Halloween costumes, enjoy live entertainment and meet story book characters along a trick-or-treat trail.
In order to make this event possible, park staff needs the help of energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Opportunities include participating as a costumed character, helping to carve the 300 jack-o-lanterns to be placed along the trail, sewing or designing costumes, or helping out with all of the other work that needs doing.
Volunteers may call the park’s Volunteer Coordinator at 302-644-5005 or the Nature Center at 302-645-6852 for more information.
