Water Infrastructure Advisory Council Orientation Workshop, Public Hearing, Council Meeting set for Wednesday, Sept. 4 in Dover
DOVER (Aug. 27, 2013) – The Delaware Water Infrastructure Advisory Council (WIAC) will hold a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Orientation Workshop, followed by a Public Hearing and then followed by a Council Meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at the Kent County Administrative Complex, 555 S. Bay Road, Dover, Conference Room 220.
Legislation signed into law on June 19, 2013 by Governor Jack Markell, renamed the Delaware Clean Water Advisory Council to the Delaware Water Infrastructure Advisory Council. The law also consolidated the mission of the Council to include advisory oversight for both the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund and the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund.
