Water Supply Coordinating Council to Meet June 12
The Delaware Water Supply Coordinating Council will meet 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Thursday, June 12 at the Delaware Department of Agriculture, 2320 S. DuPont Highway, Dover.

The Delaware Water Supply Coordinating Council works cooperatively in a public-private effort between government, academia and water purveyors to plan future water supplies in Delaware. The Council is charged with achieving the goal of water supply self-sufficiency in northern New Castle County by 2010, and with reporting bi-annually on plans to address current and future water supply and water demand issues in areas of southern New Castle County and Kent and Sussex Counties. The Council is scheduled to conclude its work by Jan. 1, 2010. The Council meets quarterly.
