Water Supply Coordinating Council to Meet March 13

The Delaware Water Supply Coordinating Council will meet 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 13 in the Felton-Farmington Room at the DelDOT Main Office Building, 800 Bay Road in Dover.

The agenda includes the following items:

·        Review and Approval of Meeting Notes from the Dec. 11, 2007 Meeting

·        Water Conditions Report – Delaware Geological Society

·        Drought Advisory Status

·        Review of Filings for Self-Sufficiency: Non-Jurisdictional Utilities (Wilmington)

·        Water Utility Reports

·        Tenth Progress Report

·        Other Business
-Stream Spill Response (Newark)

            The Delaware Water Supply Coordinating Council works cooperatively in a public-private effort between government, academia and water purveyors to plan future water supplies in Delaware. The Council meets quarterly.
