Discover how animals survive winter at Cape Henlopen State Park

LEWES (Nov. 29) Visitors to Cape Henlopen State Park are invited to find out how animals and plants prepare for the cold. 

A park naturalist will explain how local plants and animals survive the winter at the park on Thursday, Dec. 2 at noon.  The program is part of the monthly series, Lunch and Learn that meets on the first Thursday of each month.  A different topic is discussed during each program.

Participants are invited to bring lunch, and park staff will provide coffee and dessert.  The program fee is $3 per person and pre-registration is required.  Information and registration are available by calling 302-645-6852.
