Workshops Scheduled Nov. 18, 19, 20 on Proposed
Amendments to Underground Storage Tank Regulations
DNREC’s Tank Management Branch will hold three public workshops on proposed amendments to Delaware’s underground storage tank regulation #1351. The workshops will be held:
10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18 – DNREC Office, Conference Room, 391 Lukens Drive, New Castle.
10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 – Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus, Main Building, State Route 18, Georgetown.
10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20 – Delaware Technical & Community College, Terry Campus, Education & Technology Building, Room 727, 100 Campus Drive, Dover.
The proposed amendments include operator training regulations as required by the 2005 federal Energy Policy Act, restrictions for locating new UST facilities in close proximity to drinking water supplies, and clarifications to existing requirements.
