Marsh Walk at the St. Jones Reserve
Tuesday, April 7, 2015       10 - 11:30 a.m.
Join a naturalist for an approximate 1/4 mile guided walk as we explore the St. Jones saltmarsh. The walk will meet at the St. Jones Reserve (818 Kitts Hummock Road in Dover, Delaware). Wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly. Please no strollers.

Coastal Heritage Driving Tour
Tuesday, April 14, 2015      9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Join us as we discover the natural and historic resources of the Delaware Bay Communities.  Leave the driving to us as you board our touring van.  We will make a stop for lunch along the way.  The tour will meet at the St. Jones Reserve (818 Kitts Hummock Road in Dover, Delaware). *There will be at least a half a mile of walking on this particular trip.*This program is designed for participants 16 years of age or older. Space is limited.

Canoe Trip at the Blackbird Creek Reserve
Thursday, May 14, 2015         9 - 11 a.m.
Take an adventure up Blackbird Creek to observe the various habitats and wildlife in and along the creek.  Wear comfortable clothing. Life jackets will be provided and are required to be worn.  Canoeing experience is preferred but not required.  The canoe trip will meet at the Blackbird Creek Reserve component at 801 Blackbird Landing Road in Townsend, Delaware.  Space is limited.  You must be at least 14 years of age to paddle.

Discovery Lab: Horseshoe Crab Survey 
Saturday, May 16, 2015      10 - 11 a.m. (Bowers Beach)
The Delaware Bay is home to the largest population of horseshoe crabs on the Atlantic coast and play a key role in our ecosystem. Every year volunteers and scientists count spawning horseshoe crabs to learn more about their numbers. Come and join us to learn more about the horseshoe crab and to do a mock spawning survey! This program is designed for our scientist who are too young (under 13) to participate in the real survey, but all ages are welcome. We will meet in the public lot at Bowers beach before heading out to the beachfront. Space is limited so register today.

Boat Trip-St. Jones River
Tuesday, May 19, 2015         10 a.m. - Noon
Get ready to board our 24 foot skiff boat as we take an expedition onto the River! This program will meet at Scotton Landing off of Barkers Landing Road in Dover, Delaware. These boating experiences are designed for ages 5-adult. Life jackets will be provided and are required to be worn on the trip. Space is limited.
