The Public Safety and Infrasture Workgroup will focus on determining the vulnerability of key individual facilities, lifelines, or resources within the state of Delaware.
It is important to protect these critical facilities from sea level rise and other coastal hazards to ensure that any interruption to service is reduced or eliminated. It could also focus on identifying hazardous facilities or secondary risk sites that could pose public safety concerns.
Items of concern for this workgroup may include fire and rescue facilities, police facilities, communication infrastructure, transportation routes, utilities, government facilities, school and daycare facilities, hospitals, evacuation routes and more.
