An online application portal is now available for Delmarva Power Green Energy Program applications and the expanded commercial and non-profit geothermal and solar hot water grants. All Delmarva Power Green Energy Program applications must be submitted electronically through the online application portal. Green Energy Fund regulations are currently under revision to meet the requirements of the Delaware Energy Act and to further streamline the Green Energy Fund programs. The proposed draft regulations will include changes to the programs which will make administration of the programs more efficient and improve the sustainability of the Green Energy Fund. Delmarva Power currently offers grants to offset the installed cost of photovoltaic, solar water heating, wind, and geothermal renewable energy technologies. Please review the Program regulations prior to submitting an application. In order to receive funding, applicants must submit an application through the online application portal prior to installing their system.
Please see the grant instructions below for details regarding initial documentation submission requirements. Only complete applications with all required attachments should be submitted to the Green Energy Program Team. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Online State W-9 Registration Process: The Delaware State Substitute Form W-9 must be completed online prior to receiving grant payment. Grant payments cannot be processed without this form. If you have problems completing the State W-9 form, please call the State Division of Accounting at 302-672-5000 and ask to speak to a member of the vendor team.

Grant payments are issued once per month and the payment queue list is updated after monthly payments are processed.
