ADVISORY: The Delaware Green Energy Fund regulations public hearing has been postponed indefinitely. Green Energy Fund regulations are currently under revision for adherence to requirements in the Delaware Energy Act and to further streamline the Green Energy Fund programs. Current proposed draft regulations include changes to the programs which seek to make administration of the programs more efficient and improve sustainability of the Green Energy Fund Programs. Delmarva Power currently offers grants to offset the installed cost of photovoltaic, solar water heating, wind, and geothermal renewable energy technologies.
Please review the program regulations prior to submitting an application. Customers and contractors applying for grant funding from the Green Energy Program must submit the initial grant application to the Division of Energy and Climate prior to installing their system.
Please see the grant instructions below for details regarding initial documentation submission requirements. Only complete applications with all required attachments should be submitted to the Green Energy Program Team. Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant and will not be processed.

NEW Online State W-9 Process: Effective October 22, 2012, the Delaware State Substitute Form W-9 must be completed online. The State Division of Accounting will no longer accept paper or faxed copies of the W-9 Form. If you have problems completing the State W-9 form, please call the State Division of Accounting at 302-672-5000 and ask to speak to a member of the vendor team.
