Rebate Details
The Delaware Energy Office's Home Performance Program is offering a 20-percent rebate on energy efficiency upgrades up to $750. To qualify for this rebate, homeowners call a Delaware Home Performance contractor to perform a home performance energy audit done. The participating contractor will provide the homeowner with a list of prioritized energy upgrades. This same contractor, or another qualified Delaware Home Performance contractor, can perform the energy upgrades.
Energy upgrades that qualify for this 20-percent rebate include: air sealing; insulation; lighting; water heating; heating and cooling equipment tune-ups; and in certain situations, upgrades to high-efficiency water heating, heating and cooling equipment.
NEW! Please note: All materials for rebates must be date stamped by the Delaware Energy Office on or before December 10, 2009. Rebate materials received after Close of Business on December 10, 2009 will not be accepted.
