FY 2015 Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund Public Workshops
DNREC's Financial Assistance Branch (FAB) and DHSS' Division of Public Health, Office of Drinking Water (ODW) will host three State Revolving Loan Fund Workshops in preparation for the development of Clean Water (CWSRF) and Drinking Water (DWSRF) FY 2015 Project Priority Lists (PPLs). The purpose of the Workshops is to inform and provide municipal government representatives, privately owned businesses, wastewater and drinking water utilities, consultant engineers, and other interested parties with detailed overviews of the CWSRF and DWSRF Programs. The combined program Workshops will provide attendees with an efficient source of information for requesting financial assistance for wastewater and drinking water infrastructure project needs.
Notices-of-Intent (NOI) for wastewater, drinking water, stormwater, and related infrastructure projects will be solicited starting February 26th and due by March 26, 2015 to prepare the FY 2015 CWSRF and CWSRF PPLs. Projects must be listed on the CWSRF and WSRF PPLs, respectively, to be considered for funding. Attendance at one of the Workshops is required by applicants and their consulting firms that plan to apply for CWSRF and DWSRF assistance.
Workshop participants will learn about the following recent CWSRF and DWSRF program changes and infrastructure financing tools.
v One-Stop Loan Application Process for Wastewater and Drinking Water Infrastructure Project Assistance
v CWSRF and DWSRF Program Loan Interest Rates (currently 2.0 Percent)
v Land Conservation, and Water Quality Improvement Loan Sponsorship Programs
v Source Water Protection Loans for Drinking Water Supplies
v Wastewater and Stormwater Facilities Matching Planning Grants
v Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 (WRRDA) Expanded Eligibilities for Privately Owned Properties and Businesses
In addition, detailed information will be presented regarding how and when to submit projects for funding consideration, project ranking criteria, project construction requirements, and how to apply for Wastewater and Stormwater Matching Planning Grants.
