Advisory Council on Wildlife and Freshwater Fish

 

The Council on Wildlife and Freshwater Fish was created in 1953 and is comprised of nine members appointed by the Governor, with each member serving a term of three years. The Council serves in an advisory capacity to the Director of the Division of Fish & Wildlife and shall consider matters relating to the protection, conservation and propagation of all forms of fish and protected wildlife of this State and such matters as may be referred to it by the Governor, Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control or the Director of DNREC's Division of Fish & Wildlife. Minutes are not posted until approved at a later Council meeting.
