If you need to print a duplicate license, you have two opportunities to reprint your license at no cost. If you have any questions please contact DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife's licensing section at 302-739-9918 prior to attempting to print your duplicate license. Recreational License Section hours are Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please make sure of the following prior to printing your duplicate license:
- Your printer is on and operating properly
- You have paper in the printer and your toner is sufficient
- You are not using a mobile device, touch screen computer or apple products
- Once the printer box appears on your computer screen, DO NOT close out of the pop-up box that reads "About blank." Please wait until the system pulls up the printer selection page before proceeding. (If you "X" out of the pop-up box, you will have lost your opportunity to print a duplicate license at no cost.)
If your attempt to print a duplicate fails on the first duplicate attempt please do not use your second free opportunity. Your computer or printer may not be compatible with our system, firewalls, security set-up, anti-virus software, or wireless set-ups that may be preventing you from printing. Please contact the Recreational Licensing Section 302-739-9918 for assistance. We can help with your second and last chance to print a duplicate at no cost, as long as you have not used both your chances.
DNREC's Dover office at 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901 has a computer available for printing duplicates.
If you use your two free opportunities then your options are to purchase another license or pay a $5 handling charge to the Division of Fish & Wildlife for a duplicate. You will also need to provide a copy of your driver's license. Please call 302-739-9918 for more information Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays.
