Location: Aquatic Resources Education Center

Training Description: Concerned about the decline in Delaware's amphibian species? Join a national project working to assess frog and toad populations trends. Data is collected using a calling survey technique where volunteers identify local amphibian species by their vocalizations. By driving a specified route and listening to calls roadside, you can help identify species throughout Delaware. For more information on the project, visit the North American Amphibian Monitoring Program website.
Age Requirement: DAMP volunteers must be 18 years of age and are required to have a licensed motorized vehicle and a valid driver's license with the ability to drive at night (or with the commitment of a co-volunteer to drive).
Contact: Pre-registration is requested. Please contact Vickie Henderson at 302-735-8657 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to register for the DAMP orientation.
