Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017      9 a.m. - noon

Location: Statewide

Sponsored by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, the cleanup spans the First State’s 97-mile eastern coastline and includes river and ocean shorelines as well as inland wetland and watershed areas. Cleanups will be held at various sites in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties.

Online registration opened in late-July. To register as a volunteer, please visit DNREC's Coastal Cleanup webpage.

Interested in being a site captain?
The Division of Fish & Wildlife will be looking for site captains for Fish & Wildlife cleanup sites. Site captains provide leadership at each cleanup site by welcoming volunteers, getting them signed in, and distributing and collecting cleanup supplies.

To sign up as a site captain, please contact Lynne Pusey at lynne.pusey@state.de.us or 302-422-1329.
