Conservation Issues

Each wildlife species has unique requirements for food, water and cover that determine where it can be found. Some species are generalists and can be found in many different types of habitats. Other species have very specific requirements and may limit themselves to only one type of habitat. Conservation issues have been identified based on effects to wildlife species and their habitats. These issues range from industrial development to invasive plants and may cause loss of wildlife species and/or the destruction or degradation of their habitats.
