The Community Ombudsman is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating a statewide program that assists business, industry, communities and the general population in understanding the requirements of various regulatory programs administered by DNREC or the Public Service Commission.
Small Business Ombudsman
The Small Business Ombudsman provides input at the legislative level concerning environmental regulations and how they will affect small business in Delaware, helps resolve permitting and compliance disputes and provides feedback to the Department from small businesses. The Small Business Ombudsman also provides technical assistance to small businesses to help them understand their environmental requirements. The Small Business Ombudsman serves as the Department's Registrar for regulations.
