Established in 1986, the Delaware Land & Water Conservation Trust Fund was created to provide permanent and steady funding for park land and greenway conservation and outdoor recreation facility development.
City and county governments and park districts may apply for grant funding under the DTF program.
Grants may be awarded for projects such as land acquisition, greenway corridor acquisition, planning and design of parks or trails, and outdoor recreation facility construction..
