    • Start Action Notice to Revise the Delaware Regulations Governing Hazardous Substance Cleanup (Regulations) to establish new procedures for implementing the Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), including Subchapter II, the Brownfields Development Program

  • DNREC's Site Investigation and Restoration Section will hold a public hearing for Proposed Changes to the Regulations Governing Hazardous Substance Cleanup May 31, 2012 at 6 p.m., in DNREC's Auditorium, Richardson & Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover 19901.
    • Revisions to the regulations include reformatting the document to match the current style manual, updating the procedures for conducting hazardous substance cleanup actions, and including new regulations regarding consultant certification.
    • Individuals may submit written comments regarding the proposed changes via e-mail to lisa.vest@state.de.us or via the USPS to Lisa Vest, Hearing Officer, DNREC, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is an agreement between the Department (particularly the Site Investigation and Restoration Branch) and other State, Federal or local municipalities.hese documents try to outline mutual objectives between the government agencies.  Each document is non-binding but it is the expectation that the applicable agencies fulfill their objectives in good faith.
