Individual NPDES Permit
An individual NPDES permit is tailered to a specific discharge and location. These are typically outfalls from municipal sewage treatment facilities or industrial plants that discharge to surface waters of Delaware. The NPDES permit specifies limitations, monitoring requirements, and other terms and conditions that the permittee must meet in order to be allowed to discharge.
NPDES Application Forms:
To apply for an individual NPDES permit, you must supply two forms:
Form 1 (General Information) and the appropriate discharge-specific form(s) (2A, 2B, 2C, 2E, and/or 2F).
Form 2A
For discharges municipal wastewater from new and existing publicly owned treatment works, “POTWs”
Form 2B
For discharges of wastewater from concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) and aquatic animal production facilities
Form 2C
For existing industrial facilities (including manufacturing, commercial, mining and silvicultural operations)
Form 2D
For new industrial facilities
Form 2E
For facilities which do not discharge process wastewaters
Form 2F
To discharge stormwater associated with new and existing industrial activity
